Presented at Design Miami/Paris 2025 with the support of Maison Lelièvre, Le Bain du Collectionneur is a collection curated and edited by Paragone, conceived as a contemporary manifesto of French taste.
Drawing inspiration from Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann’s iconic Pavillon du Collectionneur, first unveiled at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs, Edgar Jayet revisits this legendary concept a century later through a series of furniture and objects that merge exquisite French craftsmanship, a spirit of travel, and a refined intimacy between bathroom and boudoir.
Developed in collaboration with some of France’s most renowned workshops and maisons, and under the patronage of Maison Lelièvre, the collection celebrates the dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation. Each piece embodies Paragone’s curatorial approach — bridging artistic vision, craftsmanship, and editorial production — to offer a modern interpretation of the art de vivre à la française.
Unveiled at Hôtel de Maisons, Paris, during Design Miami.Paris 2025, Le Bain du Collectionneur stands as both a tribute to tradition and a bold exploration of design as a total work of art.
