Fabian was born in Hamburg in a family consisted of architects. Early on, he set up his first studio in the attic of our garage, where he created wood sculptures, acrylic paintings, and material experiments.
Given this background, Fabian studied architecture and attended the Berlin University of the Arts. After his studies, he set up his first office on Heidestraße near Berlin‘s main train station, above a club. Back then, it was a no man‘s land. Here, he created furniture designs, art, and concepts that continue to be realized to this day. Alongside developing his own creative goals, he carried out numerous designs for apartments for Berlin project developers during this period.
His fascination with the precise development of floor plans arose from practice, and execution down to the last detail became a growing market. The unwavering core of his work is free-spirited and anti-authoritarian. This unrestrained joy in design and the creation of his own design rules form the foundation of his studio today. The basis of his inspiration is the amalgamation of experiences and their translation into the design of projects. Fabian’s work is characterized by the search and curiosity for the outcome, which is not bound by predetermined limits.
